I am the Agriculture Instructor / FFA Advisor at West Wilson Middle School. I attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated in May of 2019. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science with a minor in Secondary Education with a focus on Agriculture Education. I am licensed to teach Agriscience/Agriculture Education to grades 6th - 12th. I am currently in my third year as an educator and teach Agriscience to students in grades 6th - 8th. I also teach an 8th Grade Honors Agriscience class for high school credit. I am responsible for creating and implementing the curriculum for each grade level, maintaining our small animal lab, and maintaining an active FFA Chapter. In addition to my Bachelor's, I have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification which allows me to work as an ESL teacher abroad. I believe all students are unique individuals who learn at different rates and in different ways. I believe all children can learn, provided the right tools/resources and the right teachers.
