Total Project Cost: $144 MM.• Lead Process Engineer for a new spent acid blowdown unit at Valero Houston Refinery to process spent acid from multiple sulfuric acid alkylation units during FEED and detailed design. Total Project Cost: $19 MM.• Senior Process Engineer for an FEL-1 study for a new 150 KBPD Crude Complex to support the +/- 50% cost estimate, which also included assessing the OSBL requirements.• Senior Process Engineer for an FEL-1 study for a new 20 KBPD Condensate Splitter and Saturates Gas Plant (SGP) to support the +/- 50% cost estimate which also included assessing the OSBL requirements.• Extensive experience for several relief systems projects. Performed relief load calculations and sizing, evaluated inlet/outlet piping hydraulics, flare header sizing and analysis, and generated recommendations list to mitigate findings/concerns. • Designed Anhydrous Ammonia Tanks per ANSI/CGA G-2.1 to supply vaporized ammonia to SCR.

Process work included designing the Plant & Instrument Air, Service Water, and Potable Water Systems and developing Block Flow Diagrams.

Assignment at Univation Technologies, Houston, Texas. (Dow / ExxonMobil joint venture). Worked with a process team to complete a PDP (Process Design Package) for a Unipol PE plant in China. Responsibilities included feed purification design for a comonomer, teal, hydrogen, nitrogen, and ICA.

Prepared a basic engineering and FEED package for a grassroots facility with common PE/PP finishing and two PE polymerization trains. Process work included P&ID development for utilities and interfaces between new and existing units.

• Di-Isobutylene (DIB) Project - Unit was converted to produce iso-octene (DIB). Instrumentation work included creating Instrument Datasheets, updating the Instrument Index, and creating Requisitions.• Detailed engineering for an onshore LNG receiving/regasification terminal. Instrumentation work included creating an Instrument Index in INTools, updating P&IDs, creating Instrument Datasheets, submitting quotes, performing Technical Bid Analysis, and creating Requisitions / Purchase Orders.
