I am a senior in Chemical Engineering at Tulane University pursuing a career in process safety and regulatory compliance, with an interest in writing and sustainable manufacturing. I am looking for a career path that blends my engineering and communication skills to explore the intersection of industry, government, and science. I am entering my third year of undergraduate research in Dr. Daniel Shantz' lab. I have previously interned as a process engineer in the plastics industry and as a regulatory engineer for the offshore oil & gas industry. In addition to gaining technical skills through experience and coursework, I have developed communication skills through leadership roles in AIChE, research presentations, and grant writing community outreach. I am drawn to the applied nature of engineering and believe in the power of communication to improve scientific understanding.
