My name is Acacia Lofton, and I am a senior at Clark Atlanta University, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Finance and Management and a minor in Economics. I am also a proud member of the Isabella T. Jenkins Honors Program.I recently completed an investment banking and growth equity internship, deepening my passion for alternative investments. I participated in the Summer Venture in Management Program at Harvard Business School and participated in programs like the Goldman Sachs Virtual Insights Series and Deloitte Leadership Allyship and Mentorship Program. As a member of SEO and The Alt Finance Fellowship, I have gained technical training and mentorship that have prepared me for a career in law and business.On campus, I serve as the Clark Liaison and Community Service Leader for the Morehouse Business Association and am a member of Scholars of Finance at Spelman. As a current student-athlete, I hold the pole vault record at Clark Atlanta and earned first-team All-Conference and a gold medal at the SIAC Championships.Looking ahead, I am eager to pursue a JD/MBA to explore the dynamic intersection of law and business, with a focus on corporate law, intellectual property, and alternative investments. I am excited about the opportunity to combine my academic foundation and professional experiences to make a meaningful impact in the fields of finance and law.
