Current social and psychological research that aims to aid trauma victims in finding healing to improve their mental and emotional well-being fascinates me. My background as a group therapy facilitator for WellStone Behavioral Health has allowed me the privilege to empathize with and utilize therapeutic approaches for the mentally ill, alcoholics, and addicts, where I have made a significant impact. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with honors and am pursuing a master’s degree in social work with the goal of practicing psychotherapy as a licensed clinical social worker. As a remote music journalist for Igloo Magazine (as Anne Jackson), I have mastered the art of writing descriptive album reviews, conducting artist interviews, crafting artist profiles, and creating attention-grabbing newswires. My altruistic purpose in life is rooted in my passion for mental health healing on a personal and professional level. In addition, I will always find time to stay active as a content writer, music journalist, proofreader, and editor.
