I own a development center for kids & teens, with coaching in acting, improv, art, music, manners/ etiquette and modeling. We train actors, hosts, runway models, singers, and stage combat (husband Wayne teaches swords). I'm open to speak as an expert at events, and like to network with agents and managers, who take my kids regularly to represent through their careers. I train actor/models, mostly kids 7+ and teens. Husband Wayne choreographs fights with swords, daggers, etc. We have music, art, and improv classes, too. Although it is not owned by my former boss anymore, I enjoyed learning from the JRP company for 15 years. After starting in 1981 in Houston at Mayo Hill school, Actors & Models of Houston, and Nancy B agency, I worked in management and development. I took the info from Texas and used it to make 5 of the JRP locations successful, and top earners, although eventually it was sold to new owners. I left to open my own development center "Academy of Style" in 2001 and successfully opened our second location in Lancaster, CA in 2006. I have worked with models and actors MOST of my adult life in management, and have Hollywood contacts who regularly sign my talent as agents. Currently, I am filming a new reality show with my students called "Poor Models" with tips on low cost fashion, etc....Please contact me if you feel our connections will help each other. Previously with World Wide Vacations, I came to CA in 1982 and worked for Glen Ivy resorts from 1983-1990 as a sales manager. I sold real estate in the resorts/ timeshare division and moved from sales to management, working in locations like New Orleans, Louisville KY, Texas, Orange county CA, Woodland Hills CA, and then left in 1990 to go back to the modeling business.

I assistant the original owner, Mrs Mayo and Mrs Hill, as sales, teaching, and front desk staff. I took over daily operations in sales and left just before they both retired.
