Serve as chief legal officer for branded real estate lodging company reporting to the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Red Roof owns and franchises approximately 350 locations throughout the United States with over 4500 employees. Formed and developed company’s legal, real estate development, safety and security and risk management departments after acquisition of Red Roof by Westmont Hospitality in September of 2007. Served on Boykin Lodging Company's executive and investment committees responsible for developing the company's strategic plan for debt and equity structure, real estate/hotel acquisitions, divestitures and development projects. Principal legal representative involved in negotiating merger transaction effectuating the sale of Boykin Lodging Company to Westmont Hospitality on September 21, 2006.
