We also contribute to the fast growing Green Software movement through our open source contributions, lectures and community talks at our local Universities and running monthly events at our local tech community, Green Software Brighton.

I founded Cluelight as a Software Consultancy specialising in probabilistic models for sports.

Built sports models, bespoke trading tools and offered business intelligence to top tier UK bookmakers and industry vendors. Typically involved from inception to delivery balancing the hands on intricacies of mathematics and software with brand, vision and budget.

C++ software developer. Primarily a testing role, included writing C++ tests (TUT test framework) for a planned software release.

Initially a summer placement to work on lip-syncing software. I was asked to stay on 3 days a week during my final year at Uni to make a motion capture game. LIP-SYNCING PROGRAMWrote a Unity3D script (JS) to control a 3D animated ‘talking head’. The facial shapes made during human speech (visemes) and some basic facial expressions to display emotion were modelled on a 3D avatar. Using my script these shapes were then triggered by a combination of device input (i.e. keyboard) and the output of a real-time lip-syncing algorithm. Thus creating the illusion of a 3D animated character "speaking" and "gesturing" in real-time. It was released as part of a motion capture digital puppetry system.MOTION CAPTURE GAMEIn a small team (of 2) we produced a multi-player arcade-style jet pack racing game in Unreal 3 engine, using a motion capture suit as an input device. In addition to being involved in the overall gameplay, player control and physics programming, I also implemented accurate real time 3D player position calculation, worked on in-flight "drag/air resistance" and basic AI for multiplayer computer controlled flight. The game is used to demo the motion capture suit in action.

I worked at Family Investments for 6 years, initially full time and then part time through University.Main duties/contributions: - design/implement technical team spreadsheets- provided training to new and existing employees- general admin and technical business reports - organise team workload- for 1 academic year I dedicated an hour of my time each week to a local junior school as classroom assistant
