Currently, I am a senior coordinator for the program program cycle support team at Save the Children. Formerly, I was an associate for the humanitarian policy and practice teams at InterAction, focusing on risk management and shelters and settlements in the humanitarian field. I am alumna of George Washington University with a master's degree in international affairs where I specialized international law and organizations and focused on child protection and global migration crises. Previously, I graduated from the University of Florida (UF) in 2018 with two bachelor's degrees in political science and public relations, along with a certification in international relations, I have grown to understand domestic and international affairs through my experiences at school, abroad in London and Paris, along with my overall upbringing in a bilingual household.My long-term career goal is to continue to work in the humanitarian field, allowing me to positively contribute to society by establishing stronger relations among countries as well as advocate for underprivileged communities. In the summer of 2017, I completed an internship at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Washington D.C. that not only further reinforced my passion for helping others, but also gave me the privilege to be part of an organization that has a massive impact refugees and displaced individuals through UNHCR’s service and dedication to safeguarding human rights. All my professional experiences since then have been essential building blocks to my career goal, strengthening my communications, programming, research, public affairs and public relations skills.
