Passionate Software Engineer with a focus on Android development, driven to create impactful products that drive positive change in society. My problem solving abilities and inclination towards contributing to a positive cause have been recognized through my achievements in national-level hackathons, including winning the Smart India Hackathon 2022, organized by the Ministry of Education, for my contribution to a mental health application benefiting school and college students. Additionally, I had the honor of participating in the 'Unnati Mahotsav' project presentation expo at IIT Delhi under the Unnat Bharat Initiative by Govt of India, where we showcased a Landslide Detection and alert system 'Bhumi.' During my internship at Atom EI, a humane tech startup aimed at solving the problem of Self regulation, I worked on the Atom meditation app, which has garnered over 500k downloads on Google Play store with a 4.9 rating. As an Android intern, I implemented new features and enhancements, and resolved bugs detected via Crashlytics to improve overall app performance. This opportunity allowed me to enhance my skills in various Android concepts such as Coroutines, MVVM, Flows, Jetpack Components, Dependency injection, Firebase, Design patterns, SOLID principles, etc. Recognizing the value of technical societies in building college communities, I served as the Android lead of Google Developer Students club at my college, conducting workshops and sessions to foster students' learning in Android development. Additionally, I contributed as a Project Mentor at Lets Grow More Summer of Code, collaborating with Android developers on the Fitmate project. I also volunteered as a Java mentor at the International Organization of Software Developers, MAIT chapter, conducting sessions on DSA in Java for my juniors. Currently, I am taking my native Android skills to the next level through open-source contributions and hands-on projects. I have also been exploring other tech stacks like MERN and Flutter.
