My diverse communications, marketing, media, engagement and project roles, in both the private and public sectors, have provided me with varied experiences and a wealth of practical knowledge. As a result, I have invaluable expertise as a communications, engagement and project management practitioner.My roles have included media companies, small and national businesses, multinational companies and state and local government entities. From officer, adviser, team leader and manager, I have undertaken roles at all levels of organisations.I am now based in South-West Victoria where I have undertaken contract roles as the Media/Communications Adviser (Barwon South-West region) for Agriculture Victoria, an 18-month long role with Moyne Shire Council as the Waste Engagement Officer and completed 6 months with South West Healthcare as the People and Culture Project Officer (Gender Equality) preparing their Gender Equality Action Plan. I spent almost a year working at South West TAFE as Communications Officer – Student Experience. Providing communications and engagement activities for the organisations’ students and employees. I have also completed a contract with the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) as a Training Facilitator for their polling staff.Currently, I am undertaking freelance work with a number of small businesses to produce their engagement, marketing and media activities. Including communications plans, web site set up, media campaigns (social and traditional), brand development and stakeholder engagement activities.I am also a volunteer EASL tutor with SWTAFE and the Warrnambool Library.
