Roles & Responsibilities: • Assembles and configures basic network components.• Performs basic troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems, Including but not limited to, in-stateroom equipment for In-Stateroom Entertainment (ISE, including Interactive TV) and IP telephone problems (IT-Managed PBX). • Lotus Notes Installations & Domino admin troubleshooting.• Setting up browsers & proxies as per the business needs.• Physical & Virtual servers backup & Troubleshooting.• Experienced in various systems like POS installation, deployment & POS hardware maintenance.• Ensures proper installation and provides level 1 & level 2 support for all IT-supported PC’s and peripherals including shipboard workstations, Laptops, Internet café workstations (Mac or PC), and devices supporting like Interactive TV, IP phones and Digital Signage.• Set up, monitor, and break down embarkation check-in equipment and operations.• Responsible for logging all time and work as well as reviewing incident tickets in the onboard incident management system and monitor respective technician’s queue. • Provides after-hours support for any IT-related issue. • Responsible for store & inventory of IT equipment. • Responsible for performing daily procedures to keep all the systems & data updated & backed up.• Provides after-hours support for any IT-related issue. • Responsible to perform all marine emergency duties as a seafarer.
