  At FPM Group, I manage a full range of corporate accounting functions for two interrelated engineering firms with annual revenues in excess of $15M. With attention to the integrity of financial reporting and internal controls, I oversee payables, receivables, journal entries, general ledger, fixed assets, depreciation schedules, pension plan administration, and payroll functions. I prepare consolidated financial statements for compilation on a quarterly basis and certification on a yearly basis by an outside CPA firm. I also product a variety of reports such as a weekly cash, A/R, A/P report; monthly P&L, billable labor, and billing summary/billability report, and a quarterly report analyzing sales statistics. In multiple situations, I have secured cost savings for my employer though diligent review of all expenses. These initiatives have resulted in cost reductions of more than $150K/year. With knowledge of the business issues, I review business contracts between firm and its vendors to verify the accuracy of received invoices. I also manage the accounts payable aging and prioritize the payments and timing of outgoing funds based on relationships with more than 100 vendors. Compiling financials for audits from insurance companies and federal government agencies is another aspect of what I do.
