In the cannabis industry, capital is hard to come by. It’s especially hard to come by for BIPOC  entrepreneurs who own just 4% of the cannabusinesses in the US.  For that reason advocacy to promote participation and leadership in the legal cannabis industry by Hispanics while addressing the community’s underrepresentation in the sector is a priority. As a member of the local community by assisting those in need of meals and daily necessities and also involved in managing a youth program that teaches young Hispanic future leaders financial literacy. During the holiday season, I work with organizations to supply gifts and bringing joy to local families in need. Visibility and representation is important especially with our youth.
