I also coordinated the transfer of over seven thousand application records from a previous system using Excel to ensure data continuity.Researched other methods and data sets to improve distress criteria and model the region's population at the county and sub-county levels to understand the area better.

This has also provided a stable, low-cost, locally maintained interim reporting solution since Fall 2020. It offered examples for future reporting and a suite of tools for analysis for program improvement. Even with all of the factors of 2020, the tools and processes resulted in the highest federal budget execution in the past 4 years, thus providing the greatest assistance to the most students in the program during 2020.

I also worked with my team to manage travel with the Defense Travel System. I successfully collaborated and negotiated with the leadership of 22 sections and sub-sections to utilize 99.69% of a multimillion-dollar budget. We purchased new firefighting equipment for live-fire training and new aircraft landing equipment and funded additional training during that time. We also purchased equipment, contract services, and supplies for airfield operations to support our mission best. We also secured new martial arts equipment that supported the significant increase in participation in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program and resulted in several Marines' achievement of belt promotions up to the Black Belt rank, which also supported career progression. Overall, that work enhanced capabilities, readiness, and morale.I was meritoriously promoted to corporal during active duty, earned an honorable discharge, and was promoted to sergeant while in the reserve status.
