With over 15 years of experience in child development, psychology, and education, I am the former CEO of PACEs Connection, a network of over 60,000 members and 450 communities working to prevent adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and build resilience. I hold a Master of Education in Applied Child Studies from Vanderbilt University, specializing in social-emotional development of at-risk children. I am also an international speaker, consultant, and trainer on topics such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), collective trauma, historical trauma, healing-centered and trauma-informed policies and practices. I have delivered keynote speeches, workshops, and webinars to various audiences, including educators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community leaders. My mission is to empower and mobilize communities to create positive change and foster healing and resilience. Additionally, I am an adjunct faculty of psychology at Tennessee State University, where I teach courses related to my field of expertise.
