Misys Healthcare Systems (fka Infomed) was a patient medical records software company for operating clinics. Accomplishments included:* Data conversion of small medical facilities into Infomed's patient records medical system using PERL. * Data conversions for several clients included the Penobscot Indian nation.* Teamed with other developers on medical patient records system for Eye doctors using Powerbuilder.

The JCALS project was meant to streamline the logistics of sharing common mechanical parts across the 5 branches of the military.Wrote technical documentation, SQL statements, and ADA code to support the development of a secure, distributed database platform which used multiple instances of Oracle 6 Federal tied together through custom developed networked nodes. For its time, this was a leading edge pre-internet distributed $1 billion logistics project. Tom Kyte of "Ask Tom" Oracle fame cut his teeth here as GRC's lead architect.Part of development team for a parallel effort to build a commercial logistics system for Caterpillar Corporation. General Research Corporations (GRCI) was acquired by AT&T in Feb. 2000.

Managed shifts of people to scan in documents in paper and microfiche form. The scanned documents were OCRed and indexed for quick search and retrieval. With the help of some paralegals, we built a litigation support system that assisted in defense of an EPA law suit.
