Preparation and execution of vessel discharge and load sequence to support, achieve & sustain productivity targets per quay crane operation.• Ensure that the load lists are finalized in time prior to the vessel ETB. Clarify issues with the shipping lines to mitigate disputes.• Assign Work orders and allocate QCs for the terminal operation Control Process.• Act as a Leader of the Integrated Operations Center and actively collaborate with all functions therein to ensure smooth operations executions.• Follow up on Overland, Shortland, short shipped and re-stow containers.• Filing planning-related papers in accordance with standard operating procedures. Also maintain that all vessels receive paperwork in a timely manner.Understand vessel stability and safety under discharge and load criteria and whether the intended discharge and load plan meet those criteria.• Ensure timely delivery of Terminal Performance reports and vessel summaries within specific time frames for the billing process.

Monitoring loading work queues to adjust the load sequence to avoid yard clashing, yard shifting & PM congestion.Dispatch and monitor containers handling equipment instructions according to plan and Effective consoling of crane work lists, Yard working queues.Ensure that all container moves within the yard are properly & stacked in the assigned position to achieve the desired yard pattern, allocating the correct number of RTGs in order to reach maximum productivity and efficiency with minimum equipment.Optimization of equipment and reduction of idle and inactive times.Management of equipment breakdowns and refuelling in coordination with concerned parties.Execution of vessel and following coordination of housekeeping according to the given priorities.Forecast management to avoid yard congestion to achieve adequate organizational productivity.

Ensure lashing/unlashing work Is carried out to job requirements to meet the vessel’s satisfaction and operational needs.Direct QC Operator to discharge or load containers from/to specific locations and stowage positions on theship.Liaise with Operations supervisors on progress/problems during Operations.Monitor the lashing crew regarding carrying out proper lashing methods according to vessel officials.Keep records of Damaged containers, EQ breakdowns and vessel damages.Making relevant system updates using RDT [radio data terminal]Coordinating with the vessel chief officer / Duty officer regarding relevant loading changes.Handle all the moves including OOG units DG units, Special cargo and Hatch lids according to HSEmethods.Prefer vessel bay plans and cover plans and direct the moves to relevant slots.
