The SGAE is a service of the Prime Minister mainly responsible for interministerial coordination for European issues as well as for the activities of the OECD. It is the guarantor of the coherence and unity of the French position within the European Union and at the OECD. At the SGAE, Alexis helps to define the French position regarding EU Cohesion policy, regional programmes and investment policies as well as urban policies. Additionnally he is coordinating ministerial services in France in order to organise best-in-class delivery of EU regional and urban policies.

EY combines leading public and private sector practice with an understanding of diverse needs, focusing on building organisations’ capability to deliver improved services. At EY, Alexis works on evaluation of policies, strategy, purpose-led transformation, financial process improvement, agreed-upon procedures, finance assessment and operations and services mainly for EU Institutions and French public clients at C-suite level. Alexis also became a public affairs capacity builder through strategy works for institutional clients resulting in the creation of EU public affairs organisational and operational strategies.In addition to his knowledge of EU and France public sectors' challenges, Alexis build-up a strong knowledge of French Overseas specificities notably regarding EU funding and economic development through works in French Guiana, Reunion Island, Mayotte, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin (French side) and Saint-Barthélemy. Headquartered in Rotterdam (NL), Ecorys has offices throughout Europe, in India and in Africa.At Ecorys, Alexis worked on public policy projects for EU institutional clients and for HM Government. Alexis delivered research for EU-wide policies project on various policy fields (mainly relating to education and culture, social policy and development aid). Alexis developed knowledge of public policy evaluation methodologies and understanding of impact-based assessment.Through this position, Alexis developed a strong knowledge of what it means to work throughout Europe, notably by interviewing various EU-based stakeholders.Training followed: Qualitative Research Methods / Sampling Analysis for Surveys

The Department for the European Parliament is a service of the French Treasury in charge of promoting the French Government's views to MEPs on issues within the competencies of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance: economic, financial and fiscal dossiers. The Department also works with the Secretariat General for European Affairs (SGAE), French negotiators in the Council of the EU, and other ministries to coordinate the overall French positions on EU legislation.Through this position, Alexis was in charge of monitoring policy development in Brussels on all matters relating to internal makert and consumer protection (and specifically of IMCO and JURI committees works . He negotiated voting position with MEPs and presented French Government views to various EP stakeholders. His main dossier was the Services Package of 2017 for which he took part in coordinating the French position between the Ministry of the Economy's DGs and at interminesterial level with Prime Minister's EU services, while in the same time, present French views to EU stakeholders.Alexis developped strong knowledge of public policy strategies and of institutional games in Paris and Brussels. He also developped a policy area expertise on the internal market for services.
