I am currently working as the lead for a team of 4/6 members which controls around 60/70 customer accounts. The main functions are:- Tracking the quality of our customer service.- Attending customer meetings to reach an agreement to resolve complex issues.- Being responsible for on going trimester evaluation as well as yearly performance evaluation of all team members under me.- Conducting job interviews and making hiring decisions.- Assigning tasks to the team members creating an effective delegation process.- Guiding other team members to fix complex technical problems.- Providing feedback and keeping a fluent communication with other departments.- Being member of the team for annual meetings at headquarters (Los Angeles) where the next year global objectives are established.

Senior position requires better performance in the tasks I was already doing such as: - Researching and resolving client's technical issues with Liferay Portal (a Java based web platform for building collaboration websites and portals) from the support ticket opening to the solution delivery in a timely manner. This involves:1- Issue reproduction: data collection, generate customer environment, test executions, etc.2- Diagnosis: analysis of data, code debug, etc.3- Resolution: code modification, set a specific configuration, deliver a hot fix or declare the issue as out of support scope proposing alternatives.4- Follow up with customer requests, recommendations and action plans, in writing or in conference calls, during the whole process.- Creating unit and integration tests to avoid future regression bugs.- Documenting use cases, known issues or specific procedures to solve problems.And it also includes some other additional duties like: - Mentoring new members of the Support Team.- Joining global groups to find worldwide solutions to the most complex issues. - Collaborating more closely with Development/QA teams to improve the product.Technologies involved: Liferay 6 and Liferay DXP, Java EE 7, Java EE 8, Git and GitHub, Hibernate, JUnit, OSGi, Tomcat, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, JavaScript, Linux, Windows, Lucene, Elastic Search, Solr, Active Directories, LDAP, etc.
