With extensive experience in engineering, consulting, teaching and entrepreneurship, I am a versatile and accomplished professional in multiple domains, such as cybersecurity, quantum information science and technology, systems engineering, telecommunications, and optical networking. My mission is to apply my expertise and skills to solve complex and challenging problems, create innovative solutions, and deliver value to my clients and partners.Currently, I am an engineering consultant at Entrepreneurial Ventures, where I work on various projects related to applications of science and technology. I am also an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where I teach graduate-level (online) courses on cybersecurity management and policy topics. Additionally, I study topics in quantum information science and technology, a field that I am passionate about. I hold a PhD in theoretical nuclear physics, an MS in nuclear physics, an MBA in business administration, and have extensive training in computing and communications topics. I am also an emeritus member of Optica, formerly known as the Optical Society of America.
