Arturo joins a recently created Information Security Global Team for Incident Response. Hemainly attends cases from America and also contributes to security incidents from othercountries through “Follow the sun” program with the purpose to determine the risk andsolve the case in a timely manner.

Besides investigating security incidents in Mexico and LATAM, Arturo joins and leads Global Investigations, which implies common breaches in more than one region. In addition, he improves internal procedures and tools along with colleagues so that they are implemented from a global perspective.

Arturo managed the Cyber Lab for security incidents in LATAM particularly. He got in touch with Regional Investigators and Businesses to accomplish all the investigative tasks with the purpose of determining the root causes and contributing factors for describing the risk to the business and mitigating similar incidents in the future. He also travelled to carry out incidents with critical impact in Citi Operation and Prestige. Arturo worked together with colleagues from several nationalities.

Arturo started acquiring and analysing electronic devices as evidence for security incidents, which were related to malware infection and internet fraud. He also implemented a local environment for password cracking and e-mail review. Arturo became a Lead Investigator with the responsibility to track the entire Security Incident Response Team Process.
