I am the owner and director of Achieve Wellness, a lifestyle coaching company that aims to help women finally achieve the life of their dreams. We offer holistic wellness retreats, lifestyle coaching, inspirational speeches and seminars, corporate wellness consulting, and health products.

I am a tenure track faculty member in the Health and Human Performance Department at Central Oregon Community College. I teach a variety of courses, including Stress Management and Holistic Wellness. In addition to my primary instructional duties I am a leader in a variety of health promotion efforts inlcuding Staff Welless activies and our local Health.

Provide excellence in instruction to students at the university level. Teach courses in human sexuality, stress management, health psychology, holistic wellness, fitness, first aid and CPR. Instruct using a variety of methods, such as service-learning, on-line support, in-class media, and discussions. Create, and maintain, Black Board accounts for each.

Educate the public about tobacco use, prevention and cessation. Create, and present, workshop about tobacco to youth in juvenile justice. Receive excellent reviews from participants and supervisors. Teach classes to Sisters High School students and received above-average assessments. Present at multiple retailer trainings on how to reduce sales to minors..

Teach health education classes to community college students. Instruct on topics such as persona health, human sexuality, and first aid. Create and deliver appropriate teaching tools to assist with the mastery of the topics, including community-based learning options and in-class technology. Teach one class completely on-line each term. Mentor and advise.

Teach and mentor student leaders during their year-long community-based learning projects. Place students with a community partner, conduct site visits, and facilitate success for all involved. Instruct regular credit course on civic engagement and service-learning. Recruit, hire, and train students to lead the campus by engaging others to serve within the.

Research, design, teach and review a health literacy program for people living with multiple vunerablities and who had HIV/AIDS.

Research health literacy and create an appropriate curriculum to educate hard-to-reach people living with HIV/AIDS. Organize the presentation of the information with engaging activities and a variety of delivery methods. Teach life skills to diverse clients with multiple vulnerabilities, including topics on disease progression, wellness techniques, housing.

Teach individuals, and groups, about domestic and sexual violence. Guest presenter to Central Oregon Battering and Rape Alliance (COBRA) training about the justice systems response to person crimes. Presentations to law enforcement personnel about the dynamics of sexual and domestic violence. Create, and teach, a 40 hour workshop to train crisis response.

Instruct safety related courses such as CPR, First Aid, and Sports Safety Training. Audit department employees on their safety skills and provide immediate positive corrective feedback. Recruit, hire, train and supervise other safety staff instructors. Market services and provide support to program coordinator. Provide emergency medical response at campus.
