A graduate from the Eli Broad Business school at Michigan State University, I started my career in Supply Chain Management with a series of internships and finally a rotational leadership development program with Whirlpool, where I took my first assignment in Comerio, Varese, Italy. Shortly after, I ventured out and began my own company, Blue Diamond Distribution-focusing on specialty food and beverage distribution; my main responsibilities were sourcing, purchasing, logistics, managment, accounting, and sales. In 2012, I took a full time position as a mortgage banker at Quicken Loans. I underwent an intensive training and licensing program for 6 months before receiving 18 state licenses to originate mortgage loans for prospective inbound/outbound clients, where I closed 40 million in volume in 2013. After being promoted to a team captain, I coached and developed our newest mortgage bankers though extensive hands on training. As a director, I am responsible for running one of our outbound dialing teams to drive our monthly production goals. This entails training, coaching, and developing our newest bankers and taking the initiative to create process improvement to our outbound sales structure. I have had the privilege to travel and learn about other cultures along the way. Since I was young, I had frequently traveled to Italy, studied abroad in Argentina, attended an intensive Spanish language course in Peru, and lived in Varese, Italy during my international assignment with Whirlpool.
