Hello! I’m Achintay Joshi, a recent aerospace engineering graduate from Queen's University Belfast and the founder of FixTix and HypeTrade. My entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 11 when I sold hand-loomed bracelets to my classmates. This early venture, despite ending in a school suspension, sparked my lifelong passion for entrepreneurship.At 17, I launched HypeTrade in India, a venture through which I’ve made over 1,500 sales of sneakers and hyped goods, learning invaluable lessons about market dynamics, risk management, and the critical importance of strong supplier relations. While attempting to establish HypeCorp, India's potential first homegrown sneaker reselling platform, I faced challenges that taught me the importance of having a well-equipped team—realizing that a “one-man army” is not the way to sustainable business success.My fascination with blockchain technology and its potential to solve real-world problems led me to found FixTix. Here, we use blockchain to transform traditional event tickets into secure, traceable NFTs, offering a foolproof solution to ticket fraud—a persistent issue I became acutely aware of after a friend fell victim to a ticket scam. At FixTix, we are pioneering the application of NFTs beyond art and collectibles, directly into event management and ticketing.I’m an avid crypto investor and a staunch believer in decentralization, continuously exploring how it can revolutionize industries by providing transparency and security.
