• Provide electrical services to the residential and commercial sector• Complete residential renovations, small installations/replacements and troubleshooting of equipment• Service, maintenance and installation of various equipment for commercial clients• Install conduit and cable for fiber networks in high rise buildings• Operate a service vehicle and maintain the parts stock

• Over 2.5 years at Burlington Skyway Waste Water Treatment Plant expansion• Troubleshoot control systems, instruments and devices• Read drawings, single line diagrams, P&ID drawings, specifications and structural drawings• Carry out individual installs, group projects as well as running and organizing small crews• Coordination with subcontractors, other trades and on-site Region operators and staff• Effectively identify and address safety concerns before proceeding with work• Prepare layouts and perform material take offs• Responsible for the complete design, take off and install of multiple larger systems• Installation of high and low voltage equipment including switch gear, MCCs, large power feeds, transformers, heat trace, instruments, disconnects, motors, soft starters and PLCs

• Layout, assemble and wire electrical control panels, power distribution panels and motor control centres• Read electrical schematics and drawings to interpret electrical circuits• Install, program, test and repair variable frequency drives• Install electrical disconnects, transformers, relays, PLCs, capacitors, VFDs, and various other electrical devices• On site service work including start up and commissioning, trouble shooting, repair and installation of electrical panels and VFDs• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout, fall arrest and arc flash protection• Perform work on ladders and in safety cages

• Sorted merchandise orders and received product into inventory• Organized, led and delegated duties for up to 10 co-workers on larger projects• Training for in house usage of electric Forklift and pallet jack• Adhere to fall arrest practice for pallet rack installation and maintenanc
