My responsibilities include, but are not limited to:▪ Overseeing project management, materials development, and external communications with 91 sites nationwide that conduct one competitive grants program annually involving 900-1,000 non-profit organizations and a second competitive program that involves 4500-6000 high school students;▪ Recruiting, hiring, training and supervising several teams of 4-6 temporary employees and 10-15 contractors needed to ensure the smooth implementation of the national programs;▪ Assisting in the creation of the data management forms and protocols needed to satisfy grant administration and reporting requirements and the drafting of correspondence use to communicate with numerous markets and applicants; and▪ Supporting the planning and execution of workshops involving executive directors and emerging leaders and a week-long summit for high school students in Washington, DC.

Assisted the Chief of National Programs to cultivate, develop, execute, and evaluate leadership development programs for public, private and nonprofit organizations and their stakeholders that include, but are not limited to:▪ Efficiently and effectively redesigning the competitive selection processes for two nationally focusedsignature philanthropic programs for one of the nation’s most prominent banking institutions and responsible for ongoing management and operational responsibility thereto.▪ Redesigning a yearlong leadership development program for seasoned and emergent neighborhood leaders in Flint, Michigan where my primary responsibilities included materials preparation, meeting planning and logistics, and communications with 75 participants and several speakers and facilitators;▪ Designing and implementing the youth leadership development component for Baltimore Community Foundation's Youth Leadership for Change where my primary responsibilities included delivering training programs on conflict management, preparing training materials for the four training sessions, logistics, and communications with 32 participants;▪ Assisting in organization-wide research and writing efforts for grants as well as activities leading to fees for services agreements which yield over $500,000 annually; and▪ Using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support project activities.
