In this role, I'm responsible for setting the marketing strategy and developing overall brand forCBC’s TV Entertainment portfolio including 30+ original scripted, unscripted, acquisition and children’s programming. As the initial marketing point person, I lead a team of direct reports and collaborate with ten in-house teams and 50+ external stakeholders to develop and execute multi-platform promotional campaigns. The resulting strategies and 360 campaigns build mass awareness for new and returning brands while driving content consumption across owned and operated as well as paid and affiliate networks. I'm also responsible for overseeing the roll-out of multi-million dollar marketing campaigns while ensuring all creative assets and brand integrations are approved and delivered. To ensure that strategies and creative executions support our overall goals and objectives, I work with our in-house research team to tap into market trends, competitive landscape and audience insights to pivot and optimize plans.

Reporting to Director of Communications, Marketing & Brand, I lead the planning and execution of national multi-platform marketing and communications campaigns for CBC Television's scripted entertainment, acquired and children's programming. In addition to managing the day-to-day relationship with external stakeholders, including production houses, content creators, media buying agency and distributors, I also work closely with internal research, programming, content development, creative, post production, legal, sales and social/digital/interactive teams to ensure all elements of execution are on brand, on time and on budget.

In this role, I led a team of chapter members to develop WIL Toronto's brand strategy. Following the brand development, we executed several successful marketing and communications plan.During my time as co-chair, WIL Toronto delivered three successful luncheon series and networking events featuring some of Canada's most high profile female executives. • Identified strategic partnership opportunities with small businesses and corporations to secure in-kind and financial support resulting in $82,000 in sponsorship contracts over 6 months• Managed the development, launch and promotion of Trees Ontario’s national tree planting program through business plan composition, partner recruitment, online promotions, print collateral and paid advertisements• Managed the development and promotion of an innovative program in partnership with the Ontario government and notable educational institutions• Founded organization’s first-ever volunteer program with more than 60 volunteers recruited in three months• Led the planning, staffing and delivery of more than 40 local events over 9 months• Managed two interns while engaging with more than 90 stakeholders, including partners, corporate sponsors, individual donors, suppliers, members of the media and government officials

• Developed and implemented a two-year strategic communications and marketing plan, under tight deadlines• Planned and executed organization’s first-ever major public campaign: led the research, development and production of a health report, which became the cornerstone of the campaign; managed the promotion of campaign through marketing, cross promotion, publicity and outreach; the campaign was well received by the health community, the forestry industry and media with significant national coverage• Managed development of creative and strategic promotional collateral including print publications, brochures, videos, annual reports, event giveaways, as well as print, online and broadcast advertisements• Managed online platforms and generated optimized content for website and social media channels while ensuring consistency in tone and branding• Managed all media relations efforts to secure provincial and national coverage for the organization and affiliated sponsors

• Selected as one of 10 candidates enrolled in the Avid Pro Editing Software training program• Worked under tight deadlines and assisted Senior Editor with audio/visual editing for shows such as Toronto Living, Toronto Dining and Toronto Cares• Primary point of contact for guests on the set of several pre-taped shows including Toronto’s Talent
