Development & Project Management 1994-2000This group has among others three integrated companies; manufacturing, yarn plying, dyeing, finishing and trading. I was the responsible of new products development &export.• Established a global & domestic market study especially for the needs of the circular knitting industry (very popular at this period). Most of the export customers targeted where in Belgium, Spain and France.• Developed yarns according to the final fabric needs with the needed quality and cost effectiveness for the export market. • Designed yarns with different color shades and fiber mixtures to result a trendy fabrics.• Established an improved automated production method and new floor plans to optimize material flow.• Increased production by 27% and reduced cost by 70%, started export from scratch.Lead a team of 160 persons including engineers, technicians & a portfolio of 34 suppliers. • Eliminated stock rupture & increased sales by 15% in the period of 2 years by implementing a computer system to manage the stocks & the supply chain.• Increased the company’s market share which brought up the sales by 56% within less than 5 years.

The company is a textile manufacturer was shut down for 6 years following a strike and lengthy ensuing court case when attempts were made to restart operations; numerous engineers declined the job, as nearly impossible. • Overhauled & reorganized this 20000 spindles mill.• Co-coordinated the repair work made by 14 teams for nine months.• Initiated production using 234 workers instead of 613 used previously. • Secured a constant product quality that 70% was exported to the USA. • Supported technically purchasing & sales departments.• Helped customers to improve their products, which made them loyal to our brand name.
