Dr. J. Achyutha Devi has done her Masters in Zoology with Fish and Fisheries as Specialization in 1988 and Ph.D. in Zoology from Osmania University, Hyderabad in the year 1993. She has keen interest in Multidisciplinary approach which is evident from her academic qualification specializing in Fisheries, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Biochemistry and Neurophysiology. She has 31 years of work experience both as an Academician and Researcher. Currently she is the Principal, R.B.V.R.R. Women’s College, Hyderabad, Telangana. India.Dr. Achyutha Devi has published 25 Research papers in various International and National Journals of repute, 10 Book chapters and 3 books to her credit. She has presented more than 25 papers in various Conferences and Seminars. She has been the Resource person for various Seminars and delivered 23 invited talks on Biodiversity, Conservation, Toxicology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Animal Behaviour, Biotechnology, Sustainable practices, CBCS and NEP. She has been a Keynote speaker, Invited speaker and Chairperson at various National and International Conferences in India and abroad as well.Dr. Achyutha Devi is the recipient of 13 Awards including Best Academic Leader and Principal awards. She is a Life Member in Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) and Society of Biological Chemists (SBC).She is a passionate, dedicated and highly motivated leader. Her passion towards leadership has made her provide training to more than 2000 girl students and young women in the areas of Life Skills, Entrepreneurship Development, Women Empowerment, Skill enhancement strategies, Etiquettes, Ethics and Management strategies as an educator and a leader. She has been the driving force at R.B.V.R.R. Women’s College, Hyderabad and under her able leadership and mentorship, the students and faculty brought laurels to the institution.
