After two years in implementation, Arleen joined CGI as a mid-level developer in a support role. She was responsible for investigating incidents and problem tickets that require debugging and/or corrective action. Including, but not limited to bugs caused by customization, issues in third-party integration codes manageable in the AX development workspace, and system configuration.There, she collaborated with vendors to resolve advanced problems; worked with the implementation team on reported errors and bugs on newly released change requests and assisted in the deployment of release fixes.Arleen was assigned to export/import the model store from the BLD environment and perform post-deployment actions imposed by the client. As a result, she served as an intermediary between the company and the client to facilitate communication about code review inquiries, and corrective actions and to ensure that CGI’s fixes are released in a specific time frame or release schedule. Delegating tasks and coordinating with team members or business entities to ensure that tasks are progressing and being completed were also some of the responsibilities entrusted to her.

Despite having hesitations about becoming a programmer, Arleen enjoyed being taught by the best leaders in the Microsoft Dynamics AX industry, and the challenging experiences she shared with the team. At AGS, she honed her skills in the programming language X++, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, and SSRS report writing. She was involved in full cycle implementations; customizations based on specific client requirements and technical specifications; and training the clients' in-house developers. After months of participating in highest billable projects, she finally obtained the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Development Introduction on July 22, 2013.

Arleen had her internship at Tridel Technologies, Inc., a local company that provides internet services and web development services. During her short stint as a technical support representative, Arleen learned to troubleshoot low to medium-priority tickets and handle customer complaints.
