We were a small contingent of Marines tasked with aiding in the instruction of Mexican Marine forces and local law enforcement. Our mandate involved the delivery of a small unit leadership course in Campeche, Mexico.While serving in the Marine Corps reserve, I concurrently upheld full-time duty with the Department of Justice. In May of 2012, I concluded my active military service and transitioned to the Individual Ready Reserve, before receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2013. -
