In this role, I oversee the Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) and Funding Streams portfolios, and am a member of the Adaptive Leadership team. I manage the work to develop technical assistance and training for the new MAPP 2.0 framework, and I led our team to launch the new framework in July 2023, which included contributing to the new handbook and assessment guidance, gathering field input, and coordinating the work of four consultant teams developing new assessments, trainings, and tools.I facilitate in-person and virtual trainings for LHDs including on the MAPP framework and Adaptive Leadership core concepts. I contributed to the development of and co-facilitate virtual delivery of the Adaptive Leadership Academy, a 7-month curriculum for a cohort of executive level local health department leadership staff.As the lead of NACCHO's Funding Streams team, I oversee the work exploring the needs of LHDs to fund their core capabilities and improve their financial health. I plan and facilitate quarterly meetings for the Local Public Health Finance Community of Practice and manage development of new resources for LHDs to implement innovative funding strategies.
