As a Product Development Engineer at the CSN Research Center, I am proud of my first job experience. This five-year period, which began after completing my Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering and an Engineering internship at the same location, allowed me to begin my learning journey in Product Development.My responsibilities included developing at least one product in each product line, such as hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized, and pre-painted products. This gave me the opportunity to gain technical knowledge in product development, processing, and final application.During the initial development process, I analyzed benchmarks, conducted reverse engineering, and produced laboratory-scale prototypes to define the most precise and preliminary parameters. Additionally, I was introduced to product development standardization management, including quality parameters, FMEA, APQP, supplier analysis, testing, product application engineering, cost rationalization, industrial constraints, and project management for perfect performance and delivery indicator management.I specialized in Galvanized, Galvalume, Pre-Painted products, and their application in deep drawing and roll forming, where I was responsible for their development for several years, particularly the Bake Hardening 180 for the automotive sector. This work involved fine-tuning the product's surface aspect versus Bake Hardening and Aging control.After all this development and aiming for international experience, I was invited by my ArcelorMittal Vega manager, Carlos Alberto Ferreira, to join his team at that company.
