I am an LMT and certified in the John F Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach to pain relief, as well as Equine Myo-manipulative Muscular Therapy. My work is focused on helping human and equine clients manage chronic pain, as well as aid in recover my from acute injuries or surgeries. I have a niche focus on horseback riders and their horses, and how their bodies interact. My background is in healthcare administration, program and project management, developing and managing successful programs in cancer research and cancer genetic counseling, as well as healthcare process improvement projects. I have extensive experience in chart review, patient interviews, and research surveying. I believe in a 360° approach to all things in life, including wellness. So I changed my career focus to helping those in pain and wanting a healthier life. I am a strong patient advocate and am not afraid to mesh my personal experience as a breast cancer survivor with my professional experience to help others thrive. I served almost 10 years as a volunteer board member on national and international nonprofit organizations focused on cancer and breast in young adults and adolescents.
