As an installer at Eco Lighting I was responsible for representing the company and brand on the work site. As an installer I needed to have a high attention to detail as I am working with electrical circuits as I convert them from fluorescent or compact fluorescent (CFL) to LED. Strict time management while on the job site was required as I was limited by the amount of days I had to make sure that the jobs were completed in a timely manner for both my company and the customer. Between install jobs I attended weekly sales training meetings with the sales teams to build my skills as well as to keep up to date with the other members of our company team.

While at Beta I was responsible for running torsional analysis using sophisticated software to appropriately choose the proper coupling based on operating conditions sent by the client. In some cases I was also required to model the crankshaft using ANSYS to verify the stiffness and then I was able to proceed with the calculations necessary.Water Hammer analysis was another responsibility that required me to learn another software to model the transient surge conditions in pipelines and determine whether or not the system could withstand and to come up with appropriate shutdown times for valves in case of emergency shutdowns.Writing reports for the clients was also part of my job. I was in direct contact with the client throughout the project. Time management was a must for my time spent with Beta. I had to ensure that I was able to complete all my tasks within a reasonable time for both the client and for review from my supervisor.
