With 20 years of experience in various disciplines of veterinary medicine, I am passionate about empowering veterinary professionals through education and coaching. As the co-founder and chief visionary officer of EVT, I help veterinary industry leaders and hospital networks to streamline their teams and training, create unique programs, and establish best practices.I also serve as the director of MentorVet Tech, a mentorship program that not only connects veterinary technicians with mentors and resources to advance their careers and skills, but provides modular course work to enhance those skills. I have co-founded Nurtur - a veterinary team communication training organization - in order to hone in on the human skill we all need to constantly grow/develop, communication!Because the wellbeing of the people within veterinary medicine is why I'm truly here, I have also be a part of the founding of Project Sticker, a 501(c)3 organization that is focused on providing the connections and resources so that every member of the veterinary team sticks with us.Additionally, I am a tech champion at Boehringer Ingelheim, delivering AAVSB-approved presentations on disease prevention, client communication, and patient care. From a skills perspective, I am proficient in the advanced clinical skills required of a senior-level ER/CC, oncology, and anesthesia veterinary technician, and I hold certifications in RECOVER, FearFree, and providing RACE-approved CE. I am a confident & enthusiastic professional speaker, content creator, and collaborative coach, particularly focused on the growth and development of team members within the veterinary medical field.

Co-Founder/Chief Visionary Officer (Cvo)Empowering Veterinary Teams® (Evt) Jun 2020 - PresentIn the Veterinary industry sector, from equipment providers to National Hospital Networks, we help to develop and streamline their teams and training. We leverage our experience to help them create unique programs and fine tune their implementation from idea to execution while standardizing processes and establishing best practices. On the practice side, from GP to Specialty/ER practices there is no one-size-fits all approach. We ID the strengths of each team member and areas in which they'd like to grow, creating niches within the practice and enabling the workflow to progress. This ensures that the team will continue to provide the highest quality medical care & empowers them to grow within their roles, grow their practice, and ultimately grow the industry into one of positivity. EVT's mission is simple - Inspire, Instruct, and Impact - Together. -
