I've always been interested in technology, from anything from small electronics to large-scale computing systems. I was always called upon since I was in 1st grade for anyone needing help with their tech stuff, including the teachers. Since then, I have earned my reputation as a knowledgeable and impactful IT professional. I have accomplished this, as well as a lot of my experience in IT through hard work, starting out with a local Staples store in my community, where I worked as the main PC technician for over 5 years. Our store was one of the strongest performers in the region and helped customers from almost all of Southern Berkshire County (MA), and neighboring towns in New York and Connecticut. My career path lead me to Maryland, where I earned my bachelor’s degree at Towson University, majoring in Information Technology. During my time at Towson, I was accepted to an internship with the National Aquarium, where I was eventually hired on to support the help desk staff. Less than a year into my role, I was promoted to the role of Network Administrator, as a testament to my strengths in my work ethic, leadership, and ability to adapt and learn to new and challenging situations. My career goals are to continue to develop my skills, and to prove that I am a critical piece to an organization. I work well as either a team member/leader, or completely on my own, and I always give my highest effort level possible in my job, even going beyond expectations because I want to prove my worth to the company. I do not settle for being good enough, I continuously strive to become better at what I do each day. I want to be known as the best, not just another IT guy in the world.
