Martin has over 40 years of Policing Experience and more than 10 years of Strategic Leadership experience. Martin was National Lead for COVID19 Policing & Compliance and currently manages the day to day operations of a National Police Service including Community Policing Uniform Patrol Marine policing, Roads policing and Firearms Operations. He also has experience in Operational Planning, Bomb Threat Response, Training and Underwater Search & Recovery.Martin is a qualified and experienced Multi Agency Gold Commander and Strategic Firearms Commander. Martin has received training in England, the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. He completed the International Strategic Leadership Programme at the National Police Improvement Agency (NPIA), Police Staff College, Bramshill, UK. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Policing and Police Studies from the University of Portsmouth (UK), a level 7 QCF Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership and is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
