I am a Research Scientist and co-founder of Bold Earth Scientific. I have 40 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, Laser Photonics, Applied Physics and Quantum Mechanics, and a Master Machinist. I have developed new technologies that are driven by the Biomedical, Petrochemical and Aviation community’s current manufacturing limitations and frustrations, taking currently impossible projects and developing equipment, lasers, and “out of the box” methods to bring new technology to life.I have served as professional witness and failure analyst for the U.S. Department of Interior, and designed fluid handling components and valves used in sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid and alkaline wastewater systems used in global petrochemical refining plants (Vena Conical Gate Valve U.S. Patent # 6517049).I see the world through mathematics, dream in code, and demonstrate physics experiments through practical examples and feelings. A lesson in gravitational dynamics is taught from the back of my sport bike on a twisty road or accelerometers mounted to a skateboard while riding in a drained pool. I was raised in conventional aerospace, Job-Shop machine shops, riding the technical wave of CNC manufacturing since it's origin. I'm also a bit of an historian, preserving and cherishing the conventional aspects of machining so that knowledge isn't lost. The current global energy crisis along with a lifelong obsession with alternative energy led to the formation of Bold Earth Scientific.
