My areas of focus were to build relationships, retain key talent, align technology choices with Principal's strategy, implement infrastructure redundancy and scalability, and establish a multi-year roadmap to modernize the recordkeeping platform.

Drove many transformational projects such as design and implementation of annuity payout system, first dynamic web application on principal.com, first implementation of single signon on principal.com, stood up and supported first web hosting data center, and led strategic shift to Java for software development in Principal's Retirement technology.
