Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) was subject to a malicious cyber attack dating back to around 15 December 2022 (the Incident). FRV emergency response management capabilities, internal communications and business information systems have been compromised and adversely affected due to the Incident.I was recalled by FRV to assist the ICS Procurement Department to recover and restore from the Incident. Responsibilities:> Support the cyber recovery effort by engaging with key business stakeholders and reconstructing the previous BAU procurement contract.> Manage the delivery and performance against the contract. > Proactively engage and anticipate procurement initiatives to assist with the cyber recovery effort.> Provide value-for-money outcomes in the contract negotiations with existing vendors.> Conduct the cyber recovery procurement effort by following the Critical Incident Procurement PolicyAchievements:> Completed renewals and uplifts with FRVs’s critical cyber recovery partners.> Generate cost-down and cost-out savings during the contract negotiations. > Created a T&M template to accelerate the engagement process.> Completed the firewall procurement activity.> Assist in drafting the Phase Three (future state) procurement activity to approach the market.
