About Paul Morris

As a Restoration Ecologist, I've dedicated my career to preserving and restoring ecosystems in Latin America and Canada.As the Co-Founder of Resilient Ecosystems Institute A.C and Planet Healers, I've led efforts to restore the tropical forest in Yucatan, Mexico, collaborating closely with local Mayan communities. Over the years, we've welcomed 40+ international volunteers and mentored three thesis projects with Mexican Universities.With 28 years of experience as the owner-operator of Acorus Restoration, a native plant nursery, and ecological consulting firm, I've become a leader in Canadian ecology and restoration.
