Colleagues describe him as "I had the pleasure of working with Alfred for close to 5 years at Factual. Alfred joined our team at a time of rapid growth. His abilities and contributions were always appreciated. He just jumped in and went to town! Time and time again Alfred took on more than his share of work and responsibilities. The team supports the business and it’s clients utilizing a wide variety of open source as well as home grown software. Alfred grasped these technologies very quickly and was always happy to share, train new people, and pass on information. One fond memory is the Lunch & Learn program Alfred put together as our team grew. These sessions educated the 6 people in our group on technologies used at Factual. I feel these sessions helped all of us to be successful, not to mention they were really fun and full of knowledge sharing. Alfred had several areas of responsibility. He would take on 110% ownership and did whatever it took to understand and deliver what was needed. He also created some great tools for the rest of us to use when he was out so we could cover in his absence. I believe Alfred would be a strong contributor and a great asset to any organization.
