I learned about the Toyota Way of Kaizen and Respect for people as well as how to embrace the global Toyota business practice. I designed and kicked off a team site to connect our office in KY more efficiently to our future office in MI. I have created sourcing approvals for future projects putting me in direct communication with multiple international suppliers vetting quotes. I have developed standard process for purchasing activities that have been benchmarked and implemented by other groups. Toyota has influence process standard and problem solving skills that I am able to apply in everyday life such as my course work at UC going forward.
