I am currently a fourth-year student studying Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management at the University of Southern California. Maintenance and creation of public highways, bridges, and underground services are vital to a growing economy and society. The landscape that composes the planet serves as a blueprint for a rising population as it brings about the need to create and improve infrastructure for a better quality of life. Implementing advanced transportation, environmental, and structural systems that will maintain their durability in the midst of mixed weather patterns and sudden disruptions is a significant challenge that engineers prioritize. With my education and work experience, I aspire to seek ways to prolong the sustainability of these structures.
