I am an Electro-mechanical Engineer with an orientation towards industrial automation, with experience in the aerospace industry and a sting in the academy. I worked for almost two as a Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) at INVAP S.E, contributing to its Small-GEO project. My main responsibilities were:- Develop analysis tools for the position and differential displacements of the robotic arms (where the electric plasma thrusters are placed) for orbit-raising and station-keeping. I chose to develop such tools in Python due to my proficiency in the language and its speed for developing and validating ideas.- Developing flight software and simulator flight software, in C and C++ respectively. I gained experience in writing code following software development standards. Unit testing using GoogleTest.Previously to join INVAP S.E, I was a Master's student at Balseiro Institute. My Master's project involved developing a testing rig facility where to test and validate control strategies for a micro-wind generator. This involved integrating different hardware components and, mainly, developing the entire embedded software of the microcontroller used.This microcontroller was a STM32F103C8T6 ("blue-pill" board) and the software was written in C and C++, following the Hardware Abstraction Layer from ST. Different SW components were:- ADC inputs for current sensor, implementing DMA.- Timer input for a rotary encoder.- Use of timer interruptions.- Use of fix-point arithmetic.- Implementation of control algorithms.- PWM outputs for controlling a three-phase converter.- UART communication with a PC for receiving commands and transmitting data. Serial communication in the PC developed in Python.Also, I developed some functionalities using Test Driven Development, using CppUTest.I am very passionate about SW, developing different personal projects to learn new things and/or try some ideas. For example, a backtesting SW (in Python) to test and validate algorithmic trading strategies. Moreover, I truly enjoy _playing_ with my Raspi and my STM nucleo 144.
