Team Resource Specialist
I act as the primary contact for the Corporate Leadership Development, Corporate Benefits, and Payroll Department regarding payroll, benefits, HR issues, and training. Other duties include reconciling & posting employee reimbursements from Concur and compiling reports when requested such as spending trends, cost analysis, and breakdowns by department or employee usage.
Intern
As an intern I began with basic responsibilities, which included answering phones, organizing mail, and uploading constitute comments. However, it did not take long for my responsibilities to increase as I was trusted to handle constitute requests, cases, and meetings on behalf of the Senator. This granted me the flexibility to contact the proper federal offices throughout the country on behalf of her constitutes. Through this experience I had the opportunity to meet not only the Senator, but also President Obama when he gave a speech in Portland, ME.
