I am a blonde and ambitious graphic designer and illustrator with 5 years of experience. I spent 3 years as a graphic design intern at UWEC, specifically for the office of Activities, Involvement, and Leadership. While there, I worked on a vast amount of branding, logo design, event and social media graphics. During this internship, I had the opportunity to build upon my leadership and interview skills by participating in management opportunities. I currently work as a graphic designer of 2 years for the Eau Claire Makers' Market, an organization focused on providing creative and economic opportunities to artists and musicians in Northwestern Wisconsin. I also work as a freelance editorial illustrator for Volume One, a free culture and entertainment magazine based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.I love graphic design! I love to perform for an audience, to observe their reaction, to know that I am impacting people on a day-to-day basis. The social nature of graphic design is of particular interest to me because of my sociology background, one informing the other. I enjoy the ideation process of the graphic design experience, and hope to one day work in creative direction or art direction for various creative projects. I am also invested in branding and identity design, layout design, and typography.
