I was responsible for developing, driving, and executing talent acquisition strategies designed to attract and hire high quality candidates in the technology field. I was tasked with full life cycle recruitment as well as establishing a sourcing strategy and process that ensured a full pipeline of talent. Responsible for identifying creative sourcing methods, and researching alternative talent acquisition methods. Worked closely with business leaders and their Business Partners to insure full alignment of the business strategies and talent acquisition efforts. Assisted clients with defining their talent needs, and provided written metrics and process status reports. I was also tasked with defining internal on-boarding strategy and ensure the process flow. I also provided top notch candidates for high level HR, Sales, Business Analyst and various other types of executive positions. I communicated directly with business leaders gathering requirements and providing quality recruiting services. I was responsible for scheduling and conducting initial interviews, submitting results and recommendations, as well as, scheduling requested candidates, for face to face interviews. I was also responsible for providing both detailed and overview status reports and documentation to both clients and superiors. I was responsible for the candidates from beginning to end. Other responsibilities have included updating employee manuals and policies and providing assistance in employee and management training. During my tenure at the Ray & Barney Group I was exposed to and adhere to some of the best business practices in the Recruiting/Consultant/IT industries.

I was tasked with creating the Human Resources Function at US Inspections. My first tasks included researching and defining the company needs, as well as, determining where the company lacked in meeting federal and state requirements. After assessing the company needs I began with updating the employee manual. After completion I was responsible for communicating changes to all managers in 7 different states and providing coaching on the implementation of the new policies to ensure federal and state guidelines were met. Was responsible for seeing that company guidelines for hiring were clearly defined and adhere to as well all pre-employment guidelines. Provided in- depth coaching to all executives on proper interviewing practices and properly documenting and storing candidate information. Promoted a positive working environment. Implemented an Open Door policy, I worked extensively with company President on such resolutions. I was responsible for handling all benefit and healthcare programs; from researching new possibilities to save company funds to ensuring paperwork was processed properly. I was able to save the company $20,000.00 in the first year by simply updating terminated employees off of the insurance plan. I was also responsible for the implementation of the new vision program. Worked closely with the safety manager to maintain OSHA requirements and properly document and process all workers compensation claims. I was also able to provide the employees with the opportunity to become part of local credit union.
